The objective of the EXEBIO Interdisciplinarity Grant is to support project leaders in the development of truly interdisciplinary projects. This grant is specifically designed for projects that integrate distant disciplines that rarely collaborate or that address original research questions requiring a precise combination of expertise from these diverse fields. 

Total grant amount: EUR 450 000

Project duration: 3 years maximum

Eligibility criteria: the laboratory/platform of the project leader must be part of the EXEBIO consortium

Consortium composition: at least two disciplines, including one being member of the EXEBIO consortium

Maximum amount grant per project: EUR 225 000

Included:

Operating costs, up to EUR 45 000:

=> Project expenses for laboratory experiments or workshops organization: keynote speakers, seminars, discussions

=> Gratification: student internship

=> Publication fees (for project results only )

Staff recruitment, EUR 180 000 (all taxes included):

=> PhD position for 18 months

=> Post-doc position for 2 years 

Excluded:

=> Equipment

=> Informatics

=> Goodies
