The objective of the EXEBIO Research & Innovation Grant is to support projects that explore new scientific avenues, develop novel methodologies, or promote the transfer of knowledge and technology in response to pressing societal or environmental challenges. Projects may be disciplinary or interdisciplinary in nature.

Total grant amount: EUR 120 000

Project Duration: 1 or 2 years maximum

Eligibility criteria: The laboratory/platform of the project leader must be part of the EXEBIO consortium

Consortium composition: At least one laboratory/platform within the EXEBIO consortium and at least one socio-economic partner

Maximum grant amount per project: EUR 120 000

Included:

Staff recruitment (all taxes included):

EUR 60 000

=> Post-doc position for 1 year

Or

EUR 120 000

=> Post-doc position for 2 years

Excluded:

=> Equipment

=> Informatics

=> Goodies

Mandatory co-financing:

The socio-economic partner must contribute a minimum of 20% of the total operating budget of the project.
