The objective of the EXEBIO Excellence Chairs Grant aims to strengthen the key scientific fields in which the initiative already has significant visibility and to bring out skills and centers of excellence in new fields, and thus contribute to the development of academic excellence.

Total grant amount: EUR 485 000

Project duration: 4 years maximum

Eligibility criteria: the laboratory/platform of the project leader must be part of the EXEBIO consortium

Consortium composition: One research unit/platform involving another unit/platform as partner, and/or from one research unit/platform along with a socio-economic partner may compose the consortium

Maximum amount grant per project: EUR 485 000

Included:

Operating costs, up to EUR 60 000:

=> Project expenses for laboratory experiments or workshops organization: keynote speakers, seminars, discussions

=> Gratification: student internship

=> Publication fees (for project results only)

Staff recruitment, EUR 425 000 (all taxes included):

=> PhD position for 3 years

=> Post-doc position for 5 years

=> Teaching discharge for 64 hours

Excluded:

=> Equipment

=> Informatics

=> Goodies
